Our team is seeking a Senior Knowledge Lawyer to provide professional support to our lawyers and partners within the national Commercial practice. You will work closely with our Client Solutions, Information Technology, Business Development and Learning & Development teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing precedents and projects plans for the national Commercial practice groups;
- Facilitating development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements;
- Drafting and maintaining precedents;
- Ensuring style guide compliance;
- Working cross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms;
- Conducting file audits in conjunction with the Risk team;
- Writing key matter summaries for business development;
- Maintaining awareness of legislative and case law changes and providing regular updates to the Commercial practice groups;
- Preparing and delivering legal educational training; and
- Delivering style, precedents and writing training to the firm.
- A minimum of four years of post-admission experience in Corporate and Commercial law;
- A specific and strong interest in knowledge sharing, precedent development, and style compliance;
- Advanced document drafting and contract review skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- The ability to prioritise and project manage autonomously;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
- A keen interest and experience in delivering training.
