About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Acute Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at Talent Focus. As a key member of our mental health team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive mental health care within a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, devise care plans, implement them, and evaluate the care provided to mental health patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate tailored care strategies.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders.
- Continuously monitor the mental health status of patients and promptly address any changes.
- Provide patient and family education and support.
- Ensure strict compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Preferred previous experience in acute mental health nursing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Proficient problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
