About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Specialist in Dementia and Mental Health. As a key member of our virtual team, you will provide expert care advice and support to our elderly residents, utilizing your extensive experience in assessment, treatment, and support planning of mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide best practice care for residents exhibiting behaviours and psychological symptoms related to dementia and other mental health conditions
  • Support and educate families, the iAgeHealth team, and staff on the ground in effectively supporting our elderly people
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our residents

Requirements

  • Current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Postgraduate education in Mental Health and/or Dementia (preferably Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing)
  • Advanced clinical experience in assessment, treatment, and support planning of mental health disorders, specifically in an aging population
