More about what you'll do
We are looking for a Technology Sales Specialist who will focus on adding to our current growth of technology and technology accessories across Government, Corporate, and Enterprise segments. Working closely with our Account Management team, the successful candidate will foster relationships with IT procurement decision makers to provide solutions for one-off large rollouts and continued supply opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, identify, and leverage new customer relationships
- Identify, and win new technology rollout projects or ongoing supply contracts, and effectively communicate briefs to the support team and commercial teams for implementation
- Proactive identification, targeting, and acquiring of new business and collaboration with COS-AUS account managers and account directors in identifying growth opportunities in their customer portfolios
- Build a strong pipeline by generating and locating new leads
- Schedule and attend face-to-face meetings with high-level decision makers and influencers to win new business
- Understand and be able to communicate the customer's needs internally and externally to our suppliers in order to deliver the best solution
- Continuous development of sales strategies to build relationships and pipeline of opportunities
- Develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, leading to opportunities for our business and consistently excellent outcomes
- Aid in improving the overall technology product knowledge of the broader sales team

To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Proven IT or technology product sales experience
- Experienced in solution selling to end users in the B2B market
- Strong business acumen and high-level stakeholder relationship management expertise
- Highly motivated and strategic
- Ability to consult and communicate effectively at all levels
