Electrical Design Leader

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Leader to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to a range of exciting projects across various sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical design leadership on both single and multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and authorities, as well as internal colleagues and managers.
  • Deliver best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients, focusing on saving time and reducing costs without compromising on quality.
  • Build solid, long-term relationships with clients, identifying new business development opportunities and understanding their evolving needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering;
  • Expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation;
  • 5 to 8+ years' industry experience on Australian building services projects, ideally in a consulting environment;
  • Well versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector.
  • Strong client relationship management and project management skills;
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills;
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes;
  • Understanding of BIM, NavisWorks and Revit MEP (advantageous).
  • Strong proficiency in electrical design software.
