We are seeking an experienced AML Team Lead to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for leading a pod in the 1st Line AML team, monitoring client behavior, transactions, and accounts, and reviewing ACIP and KYC refresh, remediation projects, and sanctions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor the Line 1 KYC team in identifying, assessing, and taking appropriate action with accounts that may exhibit unusual suspicious behavior.
- Develop operational processes and perform enhanced due diligence checks and transaction monitoring by compiling source of funds/source of wealth information from various sources.
- Implement guidance from 2nd LoD, reviewing and updating processes/procedures associated with 1st LoD operations.
- Quality assurance and sample testing, assisting with providing metrics for reporting, and setting KPIs for team members.
- Lodge Suspicious Matter Reports and other reports with AUSTRAC as required.
- Minimum 1-2 years in a Team Lead or equivalent role.
- Knowledge of the wagering industry and/or Entain's systems and processes.
- Understanding or prior experience with ECDD, KYC, sanctions, and transaction monitoring.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent time self-management skills, motivated, innovative, and a good work ethic.
- Ability to manage and deal with sensitive information in a highly confidential manner.
- Capacity to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
