About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team as a second in charge (2IC), with the potential to take on the account as the State Lead in early-mid 2024.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage master-plan and feasibility budgets
- Cost check developing design
- Value engineering
- Tender evaluations and analysis
- Contract negotiations

- Procurement

- Valuations
- Final account reporting
- Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation, and settlement of claims
- Investment analysis

- Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors
- Identify and facilitate new business opportunities
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
- Full Australian working rights and currently located in Australia
- RICS/AIQS accredited candidates will be highly regarded
- Proficient in the use of Cost X
- Highly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clients
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team and control multiple projects/client commissions
