Financial Crime Analytics Manager


An opportunity exists for a Financial Crime Analytics Manager at a forward-thinking organization that prioritizes inquisitiveness and the use of analytical expertise to oversee and reduce risks throughout the organization. The team is dedicated to leveraging analytics to create a positive impact and enhance customer support.


The Financial Crime Analytics division is tasked with the upkeep and improvement of the organization's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions frameworks through data analysis, modeling, and ongoing refinement. The team scrutinizes financial crime and customer information, executes detection methodologies, and aids in financial crime technology initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and implementing monitoring frameworks for optimal detection
  • Overseeing projects and delivering data-informed solutions to stakeholders
  • Creating comprehensive documentation
  • Offering insights into patterns and irregularities
  • Designing performance reports for senior management
  • Completing necessary tasks for model governance lifecycle
  • Collaborating with project, technology, and Financial Crime Compliance teams
  • Working alongside the team to adhere to deadlines and sustain stakeholder relationships

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a data analytics setting
  • Familiarity with tools such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, Shiny, Power BI
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Background in financial crime or risk management within financial services
  • Proficiency in R or Python
