**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Volunteer Management Specialist to join our team at Vision Australia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful recruitment, training, management, and support of our volunteers.

**The Opportunity:**

In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively with our Vision Australia Radio (VAR) Management and team members to develop and implement a strategic approach to volunteer management. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Attracting, recruiting, training, supporting, and managing VAR Adelaide and Darwin volunteers, including those with lived experience of blindness or low vision.
  • Ensuring VAR Adelaide and Darwin has an adequate volunteer workforce that has been trained to competent levels in required areas.
  • Coordinating, publishing, and managing day-to-day rosters for the volunteer workforce, ensuring all studio programming needs are adequately resourced.

**What You'll Need:**

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. You will also have experience in volunteer management, preferably within a similar sector.

**What We Offer:**

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging up to $15,900. You will also have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate team, making a real difference in the lives of others.
