Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Derivatives Valuation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in derivatives lifecycle management and valuation, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review security-level valuations provided by vendors to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Review and interpret OTC derivative movements against related market data movements to identify trends and opportunities
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve valuation issues and minimize risk, escalating complex problems to senior management as needed
  • Resolve client queries promptly and professionally, providing clear and concise information to address their concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and resolution outcomes, using this information to improve our service delivery and identify areas for process improvement
  • Contribute to the development of pricing control processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance our valuation services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3+ years experience in asset pricing, valuations, or fund accounting, preferably with a focus on derivatives
  • Pricing vendor knowledge and experience working with various valuation systems
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills, with the ability to create complex models and reports
