Key Responsibilities- Prepare machines for hire, undertaking repairs and servicing to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
- Work closely with the Workshop Supervisor to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in the workshop.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and auto-electrical issues with heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to OH&S and QA systems.
- Obtain and maintain a current forklift license.
- Trade-qualified diesel fitter or similar qualification.
- Previous experience in the equipment hire industry or similar field.
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work with mechanical, hydraulic, and auto-electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to OH&S and QA systems.
