Volunteer Cafe Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and skilled volunteer to assist in our cafe. As a Volunteer Cafe Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a cafe or hospitality setting, be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, and possess excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our cafe runs smoothly and that our residents have a great experience.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve coffee, tea, and light refreshments to our residents, staff, and visitors, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Build relationships with our residents, offering a friendly chat while serving their favorite drinks and snacks.
  • Maintain the cafe's cleanliness and organization, ensuring everything is ready for a relaxing experience.
  • Work closely with staff and other volunteers to ensure the cafe runs smoothly and residents have a great experience.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a cafe or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
