Job Description

This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the service, leading a team of Educators and ensuring compliance with policy. You will also be responsible for program development, staffing and rostering, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Create and implement quality programs that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Educators to deliver high-quality care and education.
  • Compliance: Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Staff Management: Coordinate staffing and rostering to meet the needs of the service.
  • Administration: Manage administrative tasks including reporting and record-keeping.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services).
  • Experience: Sound experience in childcare and education, preferably in an Outside School Hours Care setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work collaboratively with families and other stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
