Labourer Opportunities with Wagga Wagga City Council

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our casual labouring team. As a labourer with Wagga Wagga City Council, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and tasks, including general labouring, fencing and litter control, concrete and paving, and traffic/pedestrian management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general labouring tasks, including manual handling and equipment operation.
  • Assist with fencing and litter control activities, including installation and maintenance of fencing and litter control systems.
  • Contribute to concrete and paving projects, including preparation and finishing work.
  • Support traffic/pedestrian management, including traffic control and pedestrian safety.
  • Operate and maintain plant, equipment, and tools, including vehicles and machinery.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a labouring position.
  • Class C Drivers Licence (minimum).
  • General Construction Induction Training Card (White).
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve.
  • Commitment to WH&S requirements of the role.
What We Offer:
  • Remuneration of $34.82 gross per hour (inclusive of casual loading) + superannuation.
