Job Title:

Gas Fitter Position

Origin seeks a skilled Gas Fitter to join its LPG Somerton Terminal team. This role requires the installation and maintenance of gas equipment at customer and terminal sites, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company codes.


Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have prior domestic experience with exposure to B type servicing, breakdowns, and installation of gas appliances. Trade qualifications, including full type A license, are essential. The ability to search for new ways to gain efficiency without sacrificing customer service or safety is crucial.

This role involves performing scheduled installations in line with required codes and standards, providing advice on LPG installations to customers and internal contacts, and reviewing existing installations to ensure compliance with current industry standards and Origin codes.

A Medium Rigid license is also desired but not necessary for this position. If you possess transferable skills and an appetite to learn, we encourage you to apply.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade qualified Gas Fitter with full type A license
  • Prior domestic experience with exposure to B type servicing, breakdowns, and installation of gas appliances
  • Ability to obtain Medium Rigid license
