Job Title:

IT Installation Specialist

Job Description:

The IT installation specialist is responsible for the technical end-to-end installation of software and hardware solutions.

This involves performing tasks such as server unboxing, imaging servers to workstations, setting up printers and handheld devices, and configuring networks.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform full technical end-to-end installations of software and hardware solutions
  • Configure servers and networks as required
  • Provide training to clients on the use of software applications
  • Creation of training materials and support documentation
  • Travel to client locations as required

About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in desktop software and network support and be able to install and troubleshoot software and network configurations.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a desktop/software support role or equivalent IT related Bachelors degree
  2. Previous network and desktop support/service desk/training experience
  3. Strong knowledge of Windows PC Operating systems (Win 8, Win 10)
  4. Firm understanding of Linux RedHat operating environment and SQL database knowledge
  5. Ability to communicate and work well within a team
