Key Responsibilities- Create detailed drawings, plans, and schematics using REVIT and AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, clients, and other team members to integrate building systems into overall building design, resolving conflicts and ensuring efficient spatial allocation.
- Review and revise drawings to ensure they reflect design changes, meet regulatory requirements, and align with project objectives. Conduct quality checks to verify completeness and accuracy of drawings.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including construction drawings, schedules, and material lists. Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Effectively communicate with internal team members and external stakeholders to clarify design intent, address technical issues, and support project milestones and deadlines.
- Manage and coordinate project drafting requirements (small, medium, and large) from inception through to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Address technical & coordination challenges during design and construction phases, offering innovative solutions to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Participate in client meetings, present technical information, and address any project-related inquiries or concerns.
- Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to maintain and enhance our firm's competitive edge.
- Carry out peer reviews and quality assurance checks for assigned projects.
- Resource management of projects.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical drafting within the building services sector.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- High levels of proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
