We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with disabilities, providing support and care that enables them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centred care, assisting customers with personal care, living skills, transport, social activities, medication and other support as required. They will also contribute to the development of customer support plans and maintain professional relationships with customers, families, caregivers and key stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Cert 3 or 4 in disability, individual support, aged care or nursing, and experience working in the disability, aged care or nursing sector. You will also require strong communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
