Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate disability support worker to join our team in Coopers Plains. As a valued member, you will provide experienced services to individuals with disabilities within their homes or community settings.

About the Role
  • Assist clients with daily personal care and tasks, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with clients and their families, ensuring effective communication and advocacy.
  • Support clients in daily planning, transport, and community access, enhancing their quality of life.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • A valid QLD driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A current Paid employee Blue Card (or willingness to obtain before employment).
  • A current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain before employment).
  • Experience in managing CPAP and Catheter care.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before employment).
  • Completion of the NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willingness to obtain before employment).
  • Australian working rights.
  • A smartphone with internet access.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years.
