Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to take on the role of GIS Specialist within the Information Technology division at EBR. This position is essential in assisting the GIS Manager with the advancement of their proprietary systems. The organization provides an attractive compensation package for the right candidate.

Key Qualifications:

  • A degree in Spatial Science, Geography, Environmental Science, GIS, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • A proactive and positive mindset
  • Proficiency in interpreting and modifying geospatial vector and imagery data
  • Experience in programming with OpenLayers, HTML5, JavaScript, Python, AngularJS, CSS, XML, JSON, and SQL
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with stakeholders to gather and define operational requirements for system integration
  • Experience in creating web mapping applications and services utilizing GeoServer, ESRI, and ArcGIS, including mobile applications (Collector, Survey123, etc.)
