About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Site Operations team and support the Saraji Mine in Central Queensland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Operational and Informational Technology Systems at mine sites.

  • Manage tasks and resources to resolve incidents and events effectively.
  • Supervise other workers and tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Project teams, remote teams (applications/networks/hosting, cyber and vendors) to ensure effective operations and maintenance of the technology environment.
  • Work with technical specialists through work management, field leadership, management of improvement opportunities, hazard identification and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Preventative maintenance of IT systems.
  • Technical field support.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective incident and event management.
Requirements:
  • Cert 3 or Trade Certificate in Industrial Wireless Communications, Electronics or Industrial Electrical/Instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with Mining Operational Technology Infrastructure, Communication Networks IT/OT, WiFi, Servers, Security Applications.
  • A proven track record of Safety within a Coal Mining operational environment or similar.
  • An ability to prioritize effectively and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

This is a full-time position working on a 7/7 day shift roster.

Australian C class driver's license is required.
