Experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters are required to work on a major new mining project in Middlemount. This is an opportunity to be part of a brand-new operation.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks- Maintain and service various surface mining equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi machines.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical issues in machinery.
- Assist with large-scale fleet setup and mobilisation.
- Work closely with the team to uphold safety and performance standards.
- $75-$80/hour plus superannuation benefits.
- 7/7 roster with options for FIFO or DIDO.
- Retention bonuses paid every 6 months.
- Camp accommodation provided for comfort and convenience.
- Clear career pathways and opportunities for leadership roles as the site grows.
- Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic.
- Solid experience working on large-scale mining equipment (e.g., Liebherr, CAT, Komatsu).
