Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to oversee the operational aspects of our child protection programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of professionals to deliver effective programs and services that improve the lives of children, young people, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage and enhance the day-to-day operations of our child protection programs, ensuring they are executed effectively and meet all regulatory and safety standards.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans that align with our organizational goals and mission.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of professionals, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in child protection. Implement and oversee quality assurance processes.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for operational areas, ensuring optimal use of resources and financial accountability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and funders.
- Crisis Management: Provide guidance and support in high-pressure situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff during crises.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role, preferably within child protection or a related field. Demonstrated experience in managing complex operations and leading teams.
- Education: Degree in social work, psychology, public administration, business management, or a related field.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and implement effective solutions in a rapidly changing environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Commitment: Deep commitment to child protection and advocacy, with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
