About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Scope. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of specialists to develop and implement individualised support plans.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Support individuals to access community resources and services, promoting their social inclusion and participation.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in disability support or a related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with individuals and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse communication needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee).
