About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team at Conexson, a leading specialist Disability & Aged Care staffing agency.

As a Caregiver Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing personal care support to our clients in Rockhampton, QLD. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, such as showering, toileting, and other personal hygiene tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care support to clients, including showering, toileting, and other daily living activities
  • Assist with mobility and transfer of clients as needed
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks to clients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Valid Rights to work in Australia (AU Birth Certificate, AU Citizenship Certificate, Passport)
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Up to date with vaccinations (2 doses COVID Vaccination, Boosted, and Flu shot)
  • Driver's License (Australian or International is desirable)
  • Blue Card or Working with Children's Check
  • Manual handling experience is desirable
