Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer - Signalling to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of this iconic project. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with managers and superintendents on engineering, temporary works, scheduling, and project status. They will also provide progress reports and other reports related to schedule and cost as required by the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with managers and superintendents on engineering, temporary works, scheduling, and project status.
- Provide overall progress reports and other reports related to schedule and cost as required by the Project Manager.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of signalling network designs and address any identified anomalies.
- Provide technical and engineering expertise for investigating and analysing signalling system irregularities.
- Develop and maintain signalling network standards, maintenance plans, and service schedules.
- Ensure standards are consistent with Department of Transport Network Technical standards.
- Tertiary degree or equivalent in an engineering-related discipline.
- Signalling experience in project engineering and a working knowledge of project management.
- Competent in planning and organising work schedules and a demonstrated ability to deliver to timelines.
- Proven experience in project engineering with project management knowledge and understanding with experience in the construction/heavy engineering sectors.
- Self-confident and able to persuade, convince, or impress others in order to gain their commitment and cooperation to a course of action.
- Sound working knowledge of HS&E requirements.
