Home Care Assistant
We are seeking individuals to provide in-home support and assistance to people with disabilities and older adults. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients with personal care, medication management, domestic cleaning, meal preparation, social support, and other daily tasks. You will work closely with clients in their homes and in the community to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
This is a casual position with 4-10 hours per week, with potential to grow. We require applicants to have at least 2 years' experience in Disability and/or Aged Care and hold relevant certifications and qualifications.
You will need to be available for shifts ranging from 2-8 hours, across mornings and afternoons, including at least 3 weekend days per fortnight. This may involve working alone or as part of a team, depending on the client's needs.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift light loads.
