**Job Role:** Home Care Support Assistant

**Role Overview:** As a Support Assistant, you will assist clients with meal preparation, domestic assistance, and transportation for community access. The role is centered around empowering participants to lead more independent and fulfilling lives by providing hands-on support with everyday tasks and helping them access and engage in community activities.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning, preparing, and cooking meals based on client dietary requirements.
  • Provide help with cleaning, laundry, and general home upkeep to ensure a comfortable living environment.
  • Assist clients with transportation needs, including taking them to appointments, social events, or community activities.
  • Support clients in engaging with the community, promoting social inclusion and helping them develop independent living skills.

**About You:** To be successful in this role, you should have experience in providing care or support to individuals, preferably in a home care or community access setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a compassionate and patient nature.
