Emerging Technology Manager

About the Role


  • As Emerging Technology Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating market assessments, thought leadership, and evaluations of mid-to-long-term emerging digital technologies that can transform our operations.
  • You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and explore how new digital technologies can help us achieve our strategic objectives.
  • Upon analysing new technologies, you will assess their readiness for implementation, how they can be integrated into our technology landscape, and how they enable digital strategies and asset plans.
  • Furthermore, you will coordinate research and evaluation of new digital technologies, as well as engagement with partners and vendors across our business.

About You


  • A degree or equivalent experience in technology, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge in current and emerging digital technologies, with insight into how they can be applied to enhance safety, productivity, and cost efficiency is necessary.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse teams is needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and work effectively across different stakeholder groups are essential.
  • A detail-oriented mindset, with effective problem-solving skills and a consistent track record of meeting deadlines is crucial.
