About This Role

We are seeking a skilled and efficient Administrative Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support at our Burnie site.

  • Working as part of a cohesive team, you will provide effective and accurate administrative services;
  • Manage phone calls, emails and correspondence from internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and tact;
  • Ensure timely and accurate creation and maintenance of records and data, adhering to established protocols;
  • Assist with site procurement and manage the ordering of office supplies in a prompt and efficient manner;
  • Maintain the administrative requirements of the site vehicle fleet with due diligence;
  • Oversee the management of ingoing and outgoing mail with attention to detail and timeliness;
  • Prepare and format documents and reports as required, ensuring accuracy and clarity;
  • Coordinate meetings, medical bookings and other appointments with precision and professionalism.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in an administrative role is essential, preferably in an industrial services setting;
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, effectively addressing inquiries and providing accurate information;
  • Exhibit an attentive, friendly and professional demeanor at all times;
  • Familiarity with purchasing systems would be highly advantageous;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently;
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard;
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, with a focus on delivering results with minimal errors;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite is crucial for success in this role.
