About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in the Preschool Room at a 40-place service in Narrabeen. The preschool room has a maximum of 20 children per day, and the service follows an interest-based approach to children's learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education to children.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of all children, ensuring a full and ongoing planning cycle.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to achieve quality learning and development outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure high-quality practices and compliance with the National Quality Framework.
  • Support the inclusion and participation of all children in learning activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
  • NESA Accreditation.
  • A current Working with Children's Check.
  • A current first aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylactic training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
