We are seeking an experienced warehouse operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a high reach forklift and performing labouring duties.
About the Role- The role involves a mix of forklift operation and manual handling tasks.
- Day shift start times commence at 6am, 8am, 10:30am, and afternoon shifts are 2pm and 4:30pm.
To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience operating a high reach forklift.
- Hold a valid 8 bay high single/deep forklift license.
- Pallet picking experience is essential.
- Familiarity with frozen meat products for exportation is desirable.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy when picking and packing orders.
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Safety conscious and able to operate equipment safely around pedestrians.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg repetitively.
Benefits include:
- Full-time hours, 38 hours per week, 5 shifts per week.
- Base pay rate from $38.91 per hour day shift, $43.58 per hour afternoon shift, plus penalties.
- Overtime available.
