At our organization, we are seeking a motivated and experienced forklift operator to join our dispatch team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating forklifts and machinery, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Operate forklifts and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Complete pre-start checklists, logbooks, and key registers before operation
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles with forklifts
- Maintain strict product temperature control by following proper management practices and accurately documenting records
- Support the manager in building a cohesive team that reflects our company values
- Report any maintenance requirements to the appropriate person
- Comply with all policies and procedures regarding despatch operations to ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility Laws
- Ensure compliance processes and procedures are followed for the despatch of organic products or products for export
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow safe work practices at all times
- Receive and store stock according to requirements and ensure all receivals are accounted for and in good order
- Take note of performance feedback and act accordingly
- Perform all other reasonable duties as directed by Management expected of someone within this position

**Requirements:**

- Current Australian Forklift Licence
- High level of forklift operation experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Superior organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- High levels of attention to detail
