As a Career Mentor at our organization, you will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their career paths and achieve meaningful employment. You will work closely with participants to understand their strengths, aspirations, and barriers, and provide tailored support and guidance to help them succeed.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with clients and employers alike. Key Responsibilities:

• Source and create career opportunities that match clients' needs and abilities
• Champion inclusive employment practices and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions
• Engage and work with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment
• Broker work experience to build participants' skills and assess employer-client compatibility
• Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training
• Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion
• Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities
• Promote our organization as a trusted provider supporting people with disabilities to achieve career goals
• Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks
• Champion our organization's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centered practice

You're confident supporting people, building trust, and guiding them into meaningful careers. You're outcomes-focused, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment. You enjoy taking time to understand an employer's business — its people, culture, and challenges — so you can identify staffing solutions that truly fit. Your relationship-building skills help you connect with clients and employers alike, while your ability to deliver training and knowledge of inclusive employment practices can make a lasting impact. You're proactive with marketing and networking, and you pay attention to detail to keep records accurate and professional. Above all, you approach work with integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to high-quality, person-centered service.

Essential Criteria:

Qualifications in Employment or Human Services – desirable
Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively
Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions
Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
Current Driver's License – essential
