Sydney is home to a thriving investment banking industry, and our client is at the forefront of this sector. As an Associate in their Infrastructure team, you will play a key role in advising clients on strategic transactions.

The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of experience in M&A/IBD transaction execution within Investment Banking or Corporate Advisory. You will be responsible for financial valuations, due diligence, and preparation of investor and management presentations. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with clients and other advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active participation in transaction teams
  • Building and managing development of detailed financial models
  • Preparation of pitch materials
  • Managing due diligence processes
  • Management of datarooms
  • Engagement with client and other advisors in transaction related workstreams
  • Co-ordinating and instructing junior staff
  • Project management activities

About You:

  • Bachelor of commerce, finance, law, and/or science
  • Related post graduate qualification
  • Experience managing transaction teams on a full range of advisory mandates
  • Highly organised, motivated, and driven individual
  • Minimum of 4 – 6 years' experience with an investment bank or Corporate Advisory firm
  • Possess well developed analytical skills, high intelligence and commercial acumen
  • Experience and/or strong interest in the natural resources sector

Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on direct IBD/M&A experience in the Infrastructure sector
