About This Role

A leading development and construction company is seeking a visionary Design Manager to lead innovative design solutions, drive collaboration across teams, and bring architectural excellence to life from concept to completion. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact community and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and ensure that design documentation is compliant and practical to deliver.
  • Work autonomously at times and closely with internal & external stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Manage the entire design process from tender to practical completion.
  • Drive the value management process to provide the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and authorities to plan, create and control the delivery of project design.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a methodical individual with a creative streak who is adept at investigating project opportunities and efficiencies.

  • Tertiary qualification relevant to the role.
  • A minimum of 5 years' practical experience in a similar head contractor design management role.
  • Green Star and NABERS project delivery and accreditation will be favourable.
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator.
