Western Health is a leading healthcare provider in Melbourne, Australia. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Systems Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert support and development of our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This will involve working closely with clinical staff to ensure that the system is optimized and continuously improving to enable the provision of high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Incident and problem resolution for front-line staff
  • Gathering and evaluating change requests
  • Conducting training and testing of new functionality
  • Regression testing of current functionality during code upgrades or major projects

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Oracle Health EMR or an equivalent EMR system
  • Minimum 2 years' clinical pharmacy experience with an interest in computerized workflows, best practice, innovation, clinical documentation, and healthcare informatics
  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows in the inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Proficiency in functioning autonomously and within a complex team environment
