About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Compliance Specialist to join our team at ClearCompany.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Audit and Monitoring: Conduct regular audits against accreditation standards related to residential aged care, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
  2. Collaboration and Development: Work closely with the Chief Quality and Risk Officer to develop projects that support quality and compliance, and implement best practice policies and processes.
  3. Technology and Systems: Develop and maintain a high-level working knowledge of electronic clinical support systems, and assist in their implementation across all sites.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Assist in developing, conveying, and delivering individual and organisational plans for continuous improvement, and maintain documented evidence of Quality Management Systems.
  5. Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks, trending and analysing data to inform strategic decisions.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with external regulations, including preparation for external regulator visits and assistance with gap analysis.

Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Nursing Qualification: Successful completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
  2. Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  3. Technical Skills: High level ability to utilise information management and computer systems, and working knowledge of relevant legislation and codes of practice.
  4. Communication: Sound communication skills, and NDIS Worker Screening certification.
