Senior Ecology Expert Opportunity at EBR

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ecology Expert to join our team at Environmental Business Resources (EBR). This role offers a unique opportunity to lead ecological field investigations, create comprehensive reports, and conduct impact assessments. As a seasoned ecologist, you will supervise junior staff members, leverage your established contacts, and contribute to business development and marketing activities.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a degree-qualified ecologist with more than five years' experience in a consulting environment.
  • You should possess demonstrated botanical identification skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Decisive project management skills and 5+ years of BioBanking Accreditation are also essential.

About the Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing work in ecological assessment, natural resource management, environmental impact assessment, permitting and approval processes. You will provide project ecological management advice and oversight in relation to ecological legislation, considering factors such as vegetation, surface water, and groundwater impacts. Additionally, you will oversee construction activities, including on-site roles like ecological site inspections.
