Job Description

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining Vehicles to the highest standards. This includes providing Excellence in Customer Service, ensuring Compliance with Policies and Procedures, and Proactive Delivery of Service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excellence in Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer experience by being approachable, helpful, and courteous at all times.
  • Maintenance of Vehicles: Ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, including routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Compliance with Policies and Procedures: Adhere to all policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactive Delivery of Service: Anticipate and meet customer needs, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of service.
  • Awareness and Compliance with Legislation: Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to Prioritise Work: Identify and prioritise tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • Problem-Solving and Time Management Skills: Analyse problems, identify solutions, and implement effective time management strategies.
  • Knowledge of Wide Range of Makes and Models: Familiarity with various vehicle makes and models, including their characteristics, features, and requirements.
  • Qualification as Light Vehicle Mechanic: Possession of relevant qualifications and certifications as a light vehicle mechanic.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possession of a valid driver's licence.
