We are seeking a skilled Rural Valuer to join our team in Queensland. As a key member of our Property Risk team, you will play a critical role in the credit assessment and management of Agri-loans and loan portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify property details and analyze comparable sales evidence to inform market analysis and property value appraisals.
  • Provide accurate and timely property appraisals to support credit submissions and minimize risk exposure.
  • Engage with front-line Agribusiness Relationship Managers to gather information and provide expert advice on property values.
  • Collaborate with Panel valuation firms to instruct valuations and review reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
Requirements
  • Certified Practising Valuer status (essential)
  • Associate or Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (API), or RICS equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage and influence to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment where team members and internal customers may be geographically remote.
  • Strong computer skills, including database, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
  • Integrity, tact, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Sound negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
