We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide essential care and support to older adults in their homes, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives by providing personal care, assistance with daily living tasks, and transportation to appointments. You will travel to clients' homes using your own vehicle, for which you will be reimbursed at a rate of $0.99 per km, plus paid travel time.
The role involves:
- Providing personal care, such as assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Helping with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry
- Transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping
- Supporting clients with medication management
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A patient and compassionate approach to caring for others
- Previous experience in aged or community care is desirable but not essential
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance)
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred but not required; training can be provided if needed

- An hourly rate of $30.42 to $33.15, plus reimbursement for mileage and travel time
