As a senior business services professional, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a portfolio of key clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationships: Be the primary point of contact for your clients, building trust through effective communication and delivering exceptional advisory and compliance services.
  • Compliance and Advisory: Oversee the review of financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS/IAS prepared by the team, resolving complex issues and ensuring quality.
  • Reporting and Insights: Lead the delivery of monthly/quarterly management reports, 3-way forecasts, cashflow insights, and actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and coach junior professionals, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to training and process improvements within the team.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to think strategically, build strong relationships with clients, and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in business services or tax with demonstrable client-facing experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero and proficiency with Excel and cloud tools.
  • Ability to explain complex issues, help the team learn and improve, and make informed decisions.
  • Commercial mindset and ability to discuss scope, fees, and recoverability.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with clients.
