English as an Additional Language Teacher Role

This position is for an English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher to prepare and deliver classes focused on EAL qualifications.

The role involves course planning, preparing teaching resources, conducting assessments and maintaining compliance requirements.

This position is based in St Albans but may require occasional travel to other education sites.

  • We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience in delivering nationally recognised training and assessment in EAL.
  • A relevant VET qualification, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or previous versions with relevant upgrades are required.
  • Minimum two years' teaching experience with best practice delivery of nationally recognised training and assessment is expected.
  • Experience with the state-based English as an Additional Language Framework, guidelines and standards is essential.
