Job Summary: As a project engineer, you will be part of a collaborative and innovative team focused on delivering high-impact water and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead projects related to water, wastewater, and/or water resource management.
  • Prepare precise design calculations, cost estimates, technical reports, and engineering plans and specifications with creativity.
  • Accumulate and analyze data, presenting findings in professional reports, memos, and presentations for internal and client use.
  • Take initiative and work independently while collaborating effectively with project managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Lead portions of design work and ensure high-quality deliverables that meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Assist with permitting applications and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate with team members across multiple offices and disciplines to keep projects on track.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent field.
  • Previous experience executing technical studies, analyses, and designing plans and specifications for water-focused projects.
  • Professional engineer license.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for results.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team.
  • Active participant in an employee-owned culture is required.
