Leading Railway Engineering Projects

As a seasoned leader in railway engineering, you will be responsible for spearheading complex multidisciplinary projects that drive the growth of our freight rail program.
With your expertise in railroad and civil design, you will develop critical infrastructure for sustainable movement of goods and people.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead discipline or task teams for railroad or civil engineering design projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to participate in marketing and contracting activities.
- Manage scope, budget, and schedule, as well as development of design criteria, specifications, project guides, project meeting notes, and cost estimating activities.
- Conduct railroad and/or civil engineering/design planning, analysis, and design aspects of rail and rail-related transportation projects.
- Perform detailed QC reviews of projects.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of experience in railway engineering and managing complex multidisciplinary railway projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficient with MicroStation, OpenRail Designer/OpenRoads Designer, and/or AutoCAD and Civil3D.
We offer an attractive compensation package based on skills, experience, education, and location: AU$110,000 - AU$158,000 per year.
