As a key team player, you will contribute to safeguarding our members by ensuring effective risk management. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating assigned incidents related to regulatory compliance matters and supporting action close-out under the reporting regime to deliver exceptional member experience, compliance, and ongoing improvement.

The role involves coordinating incident investigation for completeness and accuracy, including root cause analysis and providing recommendations or solutions to prevent further incident occurrence. You will consult with operational teams, Incident Owners, Risk & Compliance, and Legal as required. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analysing data to ensure it is fit for purpose, creating adequate actions to rectify incidents in scope and prevent/reduce recurrence, and supporting remediation and rectification activities as required by Incident Owners.

About You
  • Broad knowledge of insurance industry practices and the regulatory environment
  • An understanding of Insurance Contracts Act, Insurance code of practice and other general insurance specific legislation
  • Demonstrated understanding of industry trends, current best practice, and quality standards
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and influence relationships with varied internal stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consider critical business needs
  • Proactive project, risk management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven resilience in handling difficult conversations with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to operate effectively in a values/behaviours based organisation

You should have exposure to compliance, regulations, and quality assurance preferably along with industry recognised qualifications. Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, systems, and reporting is also desirable.
