We are seeking a highly skilled Actuary to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for providing high-quality portfolio analysis, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing technical pricing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide meaningful portfolio analysis to senior management teams and key customers.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and implement strategies that drive portfolio growth and profitability.
  • Lead the development of technical pricing solutions, including cost models and model monitoring infrastructure.
  • Develop and lead the growth of internal and external data assets for pricing and market insights.
  • Utilise scenario testing tools for rate updates.
  • Assist senior actuaries in producing the annual business plan.
  • Present technical results to a wide range of internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine processes and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years relevant actuarial work experience in the insurance industry.
  • Fellow or Associate of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent.
  • Strong data analytics capabilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage competing projects, meet deadlines, and lead staff.
  • Experience with SQL, EMBLEM, and RADAR advantageous.
