The Opportunity

You will be part of a cohesive team providing high-quality clinical care to patients while contributing to the development of Psychiatric Services and mentoring junior medical officers and registrars.

We are currently seeking General Adult Psychiatrists for inpatient and community settings. Opportunities may also arise in Old Age Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Forensics following expansion. Leadership roles may be available.

Requirements

Applicants should be registered as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent as an overseas trained specialist.

The Medical Board of Australia has implemented a new expedited pathway to specialist registration, eliminating the need for a specialist assessment with a specialist medical college for those with an accepted qualification in Psychiatry.
