Electrical Controls Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Specialist to join our team at SAGE Automation in Sydney. As a key member of our Service Team, you will be responsible for providing expert electrical controls services to our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing routine service and breakdown support
  • Performing preventative, corrective, and recommended maintenance and documentation
  • Investigating and rectifying complex electrical issues
  • Assisting with electrical installation works and commissioning projects
  • Repairing Variable Speed Drives
  • Managing on-the-job timekeeping and invoicing

Essential skills and experience include:

  • A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
  • Industrial electrical experience (domestic and commercial experience not considered)
  • Electrical installation and commissioning experience
  • Naval Defence experience highly regarded
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space training, and Hazardous Area accreditation highly desirable

Key requirements include:

  • Electrical Licence
  • Australian Drivers Licence
  • Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Baseline Clearance
